What is the Metalbird Art Project?

The Metalbird Art Project started with a street installation in New Zealand and took flight around the world. Today, it’s a global movement where people place metal birds in places that matter: gardens, parks, trails, balconies, and memorials.

Each bird is made from weathering Corten steel and placed with purpose. Together, these placements form a collective public artwork that’s still growing.
